Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a very popular technology used for short-range wireless communications. In today’s world, Bluetooth is commonly used for exchanging data between fixed and mobile devices. It is a very popular choice for personal area network (PAN). Bluetooth can also facilitate the internet of things (IoT). The Bluetooth technology was standardized by IEEE as IEEE 802.15 working group and now the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) looks after it. The Bluetooth transceivers operate in the unlicensed ISM band centered at 2.4 GHz. Bluetooth has continuously undergone development from version 1.0 to what is currently known as Bluetooth 5.2.

However, our main focus is on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The aim here is to considerably reduce power consumption and cost while maintaining the same communication distance.
